BEARD, JOHN F., 80, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014 He is a member of West Chestnut St. Baptist Church and he was a retired employee from Kroger Co.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen Beard; brother, Gilbert Beard; daughter, Rhonda Brown (Julius); granddaughter, Isis Phillips; and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Friday at his church, 1725 W. Chestnut St., with the funeral to follow at 1 p.m. Burial: in Green Meadows Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted A. D. Porter & Sons, 1300 W. Chestnut St.
