NEW ALBANY - Rauchmiller, Ronald A. "Rocky" "Ron," 80, went to his heavenly home on April 25, 2013, surrounded by his family.

He was a graduate of Indiana University and retired from CSX Transportation. Ronald was a member of Epiphany United Methodist Church, Louisville, P.M. of Falls Lodge No. 749 F&AM, Derby City Lights, Southern Indiana Model Train Club, a Kentucky Colonel, 50-Year Member I-Men's Association, and a member of Columbia High School (N.J.), Athletic Hall of Fame.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Bettie Jo (Bellis); parents, Gertrude and Frank Rauchmiller; and brother, Robert Rauchmiller.

Surviving are loving wife, Elizabeth Daugherty Rauchmiller; sons, Michael (Melissa) Rauchmiller and Patrick (Mandy) Rauchmiller; daughter, Leigh Anne (Roy) Eyer; grandchildren, Rachel (Dirk), Matthew, Natasha, Andrew, Alexander, Levi, Ethan; great-grandson, Lincoln.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Epiphany United Methodist Church in Louisville with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with a Masonic Service at 6:30 p.m. and at the church Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Kentucky United Methodist Home, 2050 Lexington Rd., Versailles, KY, 40383.
