Isabell Stratton Obituary

87, returned home to her Heavenly Father on January 4, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born in Frankfort, KY on
January 5, 1928. She was a homemaker and worked many years in public jobs, but retired caring for children in her home. She was a member of Buechel Park Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Steve (Jeannette) Stratton and granddaughter, Lindsay, her brother, Jimmy Parks and a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by William Stratton, her son, Thomas Stratton and parents, Harry and Josephine Parks, three sisters and one brother.
A Celebration of Isabell's Life will be held Friday, 2 pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from noon until the time of service at 2 pm.
A special thank you to Golden Living at Camelot for their compassionate care during the last year of her life.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Isabell used to babysit my girls when they were little, now they are 30 and 33. I wish I had not lost contact with her over the years, a very nice lady.

Sending Thoughts & Prayers. She's at peace now. I remember when I was young I cut her grass. She always brought me a big glass of water when it was so hot. Know you have a lot of good memories.
