Rose Greenup Obituary

Greenup, Rose Mary Kasun,

Rose Mary Kasun Greenup passed peacefully in her sleep on August 2, 2017.

She was born to John and Barbara Kramerich Kasun on April 2, 1921 in Williamsburg, PA. Rose Mary was a member of the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps (WAAC) during WWII. She worked for many years in the Jefferson County School System and was a devoted wife, mother and friend.

Rose Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Windel S Greenup; son, John S Greenup and her parents, brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter-in-law and caregiver, Donna Warren Greenup, and several nieces and nephews.

Thanks go out to the staff at Jefferson Manor and to Hosparus of Louisville for their kind care of Rose Mary.

Graveside service at Cave Hill Cemetery on Monday, August 7 at 10:00 am.
