Madeleine Blanche Cousineau Joslin-Horton, 90, of Hardeeville, SC, widow of Francis A. Joslin and J. Sidney Horton, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital, Beaufort, SC.

Mrs. Joslin-Horton was born November 7, 1926 in Northbridge, Massachusetts to the late Aime Cousineau and Exibia Lalonde Cousineau. She was a Teacher's Aid for Hardeeville Elementary School. She also served as a librarian at the Hardeeville Library and the Pratt Memorial Library in Ridgeland, SC. She attended St. Anthony's Catholic Church of Hardeeville and had a passion for working with children.

Mrs. Joslin-Horton is survived by her sons, Brian S. Joslin (Kathy) of Maylasia, Dennis A. Joslin (Deborah) of Hardeeville, SC, and Ronald Joslin of Ridgeland, SC; daughter, Donna Weissman (Marvin) of Beaufort, SC; sisters, Jeannine Patonde, Connie Marzano, Gloria Metthe (Leonard), and Elaine Nowlan, all of MA; ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sons, Martin Joslin, Bruce Joslin, and Gregory Joslin, step-son, Charlie Horton, and sister, Aimee Bouvier.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Hardeeville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, October 6, 2017 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Hardeeville with burial at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC.
