Dear Barbara, Steven, Susan and David,
You were blessed to have such a wonderful and kind hearted husband and father. It saddens me to learn of his passing as well as so many others on Overlook and Checkerberry Lane. When I think of him, I cannot help but recall those magnificent Fourth of July celebrations at your lovely home. They were such fun. 50 years later and I think of those celebrations every 4th. I hope your memory of him will help you through this sad time.

Please add me to the list of many who truly loved Dr. Stuart Weisfeldt. In December 1980 I began my practice of dermatology in Village Square. I knocked on the door of each physician's office to introduce myself. Drs Weisfeldt and Kent were my first stop. I was greeted with genuine friendliness and encouragement. As we sat and talked, the nurse announced, Doctors, you have standing room only in the waiting room. Get back to work!
The love and support that Stuart Weisfeldt displayed that day, and for nearly 40 years thereafter, will never be forgotten, and always deeply appreciated. A man of passion, commitment to every precious human being who entered his life for help, his love of family and community - he was a dear friend and a force of positive energy that will be deeply missed.
I pray for his devoted wife, Barbara, and sons, to be comforted by the knowledge that their man was a hero.
Sincerely,
A. David Simkin, M.D.

Dear Barbara, we are all so sad to hear of Stu passing but I know he is in a beautiful place, free of pain and enjoying eternal peace. He was such a wonderful friend ,a fantastic Doctor and so good to me during very difficult times. Patrick sends his love and knows that all the Jesuits are welcoming him. He loved you and family more than anything .The doxies are there with him. I will ask my boys to show him around and I know they will have a great time. Words are inadequate. Much love, Mary Slattery and family
