lifelong resident of Lowell

LOWELL - Arlene D. (Brunelle) Noel, age 67, a lifelong resident of Lowell, passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2018, at D'Youville Senior Care in Lowell surrounded by her loving family, after a brief battle with cancer. She was the wife of the late Roger Noel who passed away in 1992.

She was born in Lowell on July 6, 1951, the daughter of the late Emile Brunelle and Albertine (Berube) Doris.

Prior to her illness, Arlene was a special needs bus monitor with Trombly Motor Coach in Dracut for four years. She previously worked as a quotation specialist at Millipore in Billerica for forty years. Arlene enjoyed crocheting, reading, crossword puzzles and adult coloring. Most of all, she cherished time spent with her loving family.

She is survived by her two sons, Jeffrey Noel and his wife Tricia of Lowell and Jason Noel of Pepperell; three grandchildren, Courtney, Hailey and Jacob; a great-grandson, Hunter; a cousin, who was like a sister, Diane Montminy and her companion, Robert Laflamme of Manchester, NH; also several nieces and nephews.

NOEL - At her request, there will be no visitation. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Prayer Service on Monday, August 13, at 12:30pm, at the Chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Arlene's memory may be made to the Cancer Center at Lowell General Hospital, 295 Varnum Ave., Lowell, MA 01854 or to the 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
