Brian R. Waterman, age 43, of Pepperell, died Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Massachusetts General Hospital after an extended illness. He was born on May 31, 1975 in Lowell, beloved son of Dorothy (Sicard) Waterman and the late Francis M. Waterman Sr. Brian was a lifelong resident of Pepperell, graduating from North Middlesex Regional High School, Class of 1995.

Brian had been employed with the City of Lowell as an Emergency Dispatcher for over 18 years. He was a lover of music and an accomplished woodworker, specializing in making walking sticks. He was also known to enjoy the occasional round of golf. Brian was happiest when camping with family at the campgrounds in Canaan, New Hampshire.

Brian is survived by his loving mother, Dorothy (Sicard) Waterman, of Pepperell. He is also survived by his siblings Francis "Frank" Waterman Jr. of Fitchburg, Kelly Ann Waterman of Pepperell, and Daniel E. Waterman of Port St. Lucie, FL. Also survived by aunts and uncles: Paul and Mary Lou Sicard of Lowell; Roland and Sue Sicard of Londonderry, NH; William and Maureen Waterman of Tewksbury; Lee Waterman. Brian is also survived by many cousins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Parish Worshipping at St. Joseph's Church, 28 Tarbell St., Pepperell, MA on Monday, Jan. 14 at 10 am. Visiting hours will be held in the McGaffigan Family Funeral Home, 37 Main St., Pepperell, MA on Sunday, Jan. 13 from 4 to 7 pm. Interment will be private.
