In his tenure as LHS track coach Coach Alberghini molded champsionship level teams and, most importanly, helped us all (regardless of our background or ability level) to feel like champions and like we were part of the team. He was an incredibly supportive and helpful person, and tried to guide us all excel to our abilities, on the track, in the classroom and in life. God bless you coach, and rest in peace. My sincere sympathies go out to to the Alberghini family.

Lisa and Maria, your Dad took a bunch of hungry kids from all over Lowell and made us into champions. When I came home to visit we would spin yarns for hours. Like piling into the blue chevy and getting off the bus at White Stadium and hearing another team say " Oh No, They're here!" I loved him very much, Thank you for sharing him with us. Rest in Peace Coach

I have so many fond memories of Del when I was a camper at Camp Massapoag in Dunstable. Del was the waterfront direcor and one of the pillars of the camp's staff. He was very respected. Del always took the roll of Chief at our campfires very seiously. He was another example of why his was the Greatest Generation. Rest in peace, Del. My condolences to his family.
