Ivan M. Hunt North Chelmsford resident, WWII vet; 90 N. CHELMSFORD Ivan M. Hunt, 90, of N. Chelmsford, died on Monday, January 7, 2008. He was the husband of Jennie M. (Bukowski) Hunt. He was born in Whitinsville, on November 11, 1917, the son of the late Ivan B. and Jane (Marshall) Hunt. Mr. Hunt was a WWII veteran who served in the United States Navy. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a sales person for the Lowell Builder's Supply Company in Lowell, and Ralph House Builders in Chelmsford. Mr. Hunt was a member of the William Sewall Gardner Lodge AF and AM and the Chelmsford Senior Center. He attended the Central Congregational Church. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Carole J. Hunt of N. Chelmsford, Wayne M. Hunt and his wife, Regina of Haverford, PA. He also leaves a brother; Robert S. Hunt of Chelmsford; and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Janice Porter, and Richard W. Hunt. HUNT Ivan M. Hunt, 90, of N. Chelmsford, died on Monday, January 7, 2008. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock at Heart Pond Cemetery, Chelmsford. Donations may be made in Ivan's name to the Visiting Nurses Association of Greater Lowell, 336 Central St., Lowell, MA 01852 or to the Ralph E. Jennie, Carole and Wayne...Sandy Anderson Johnson just called me with the news of Ivan's passing. How sad this is for me. A huge part of my childhood has gone with him. Ivan always..always had a big smile for me. I will miss him very, very much. Jennie, I will keep you in my prayers.

Jennie and Family- We were saddened to hear of Ivan's passing. We are sure he is with John's mother discussing Chelmsford. John and Ivan had such great times bowling in Acton. Ivan had such an active 90 years. We are with family in California and unfortunately can't make the services. We are with you in spirit. Love, John and Bonnie Wilder

Jennie, Carole and Wayne- I am so sorry to hear of Ivan's death. He was always such a pleasant and friendly man and a delight to see around South Chelmsford. I am in Florida and will be unable to attend the services on Saturday.
