lifelong resident of Lowell; 73

LOWELL - Jeannine M. Tremblay, age 73, a lifelong resident of Lowell, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2018 surrounded by her loving family after a long illness.

She was born in Lowell on October 3, 1944, the first surviving child of Gerard J. Tremblay and Henriette (Bergeron) Tremblay. She later went to Lowell Technical College & earned an Associate's Degree in Business Management. Her final job was office manager at Wingate Management Corporation from which she retired in December of 2006.

Jeannine took excellent care of both her parents in their later years and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family. She also enjoyed playing games on her computer and puttering around the house. She had a friendly greeting for everyone she came into contact with each day; from the bank teller, to the clerk at the grocery store, to her neighbors and mail carrier. She will be deeply missed by so many.

Jeannine was predeceased by her parents; her brother, Gerard Tremblay Jr. & his widow, Susan Tremblay; a nephew, Michael Tremblay and a sister-in-law, Kate (Leavitt) Tremblay. She is survived by one sister, Denise Gravelle, of Merrimack, NH and 5 brothers: Roger Tremblay, of Lowell, MA; Paul Tremblay & his wife, Marie Ann, of Lowell, MA; Richard Tremblay & his wife, Mary, of Nashua, NH; Raymond Tremblay & his wife, Diane, of Fitzwilliam, NH and Robert Tremblay, of Gray, ME. She is also survived by her 7 nieces and 7 nephews, as well as 4 great-nieces and 5 great-nephews, who were always amazed at her kindness and generosity. She will always be remembered as the best aunt ever!
