Eileen Sharkey Obituary

Eileen Sharkey of Nashua, Lowell native, nurse; 59 NASHUA, NH Eileen Sharkey, 59, of Nashua, NH, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2008, at her residence. Eileen was born on September 7, 1948 in Lowell, MA, daughter of James N. and Helen (Kobisky) Sharkey. Eileen was educated in the local schools, and graduated from Boston University with a Masters in Nursing. She was employed for many years as a Registered Nurse at McLean Hospital in Newton, MA, as well as a Certified Legal Nursing Consultant for Osler Peterson a lawyer in Newton, MA. Ms. Sharkey has been a resident of Nashua for the past 20 years, coming originally from the Boston area. She enjoyed traveling, watching golf tournaments, and spending time with her cats. She was also an avid reader. Eileen was predeceased by her father, James N. Sharkey. She is survived by her mother, Helen (Kobisky) Sharkey of Chelmsford, MA; two brothers, James R. Sharkey and his wife, Marcia of Lunenburg, MA, and William Bujnowski of Milford, NH; 3 nieces, Jill and Morgan Sharkey and Robin Wilson; 2 nephews, Jason and Joshua Bujnowski; her close friends, Linda, Dot, and Maureen; as well as numerous cousins. SHARKEY Friends are invited to gather from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 18th at the ZIS-SWEENEY FUNERAL HOME, 26 Kinsley St,, Nashua, NH 03060. A Service will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Fox Hill Cemetery in Billerica, MA. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 249 Canal St., Manchester, NH 03101 or to Kitty Angels Inc., P.O. Box 638, Tyngsboro, MA 01879.
