Kenneth I. Marrison


Age 74, passed away July 17th, 2014.  He was born June 5th, 1940 in Lansing.

Kenneth served in the US Navy from '58-'63.  An exceptional gentleman of many skills and interests, he was lifelong automobile and world history enthusiast, self-taught painter, graphic artist, photographer and print shop owner/operator.  Before he ultimately retired from General Motors as a journeyman in the technical inspection department, he worked in local schools as a mentor and supervisor for Project Team. He will be missed immensely by family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Pat; his children, Kari (Jeffrey) Vanderklok, Kristie (Thomas) Marrison-Hamilton, Kirk (Elise DesJardins) Marrison, Taylor Marrison; step-children, Andrew (Jesse) Daugherty, Christopher Daugherty and Ryan Daugherty; grandchildren, James Ott, Trenton Hufnagel, Jacob Vanderklok, Urian DesJardins, Kelsie Vanderklok and Julian Daugherty; great grandchild, Drake North; brother Raymond (Marie) Marrison; and sister Ruth (Robert) Elliott.

A celebration of Ken's life (open house setting) will be held Sunday, August 3rd, 2014 at the VFW Post 671, 12250 Old US 27 in DeWitt. Family and friends are welcome between 1-4 p.m.
