Larry Lee Cole

Larry Lee Cole Lake Formerly of Lansing Larry Lee Cole, 76 years old, passed away in the early hours Saturday January 25, 2014. Larry, with a huge heart loved by all, was born in Lansing Michigan June 29, 1937 and was a graduate of Eastern High School and Michigan State University. He served in the Army prior to becoming a partner and co-owner of Gordon's Apparel in Lansing, where he enjoyed his work for many years. Larry then later worked at Mooney Oil. He was an avid lover of the MSU Spartans, fishing, and golfing. Larry loved Michigan's up north and spent the last 10 years living on Perch Lake in Lake, Michigan with the love of his life for the last 30 plus years, Jeannine. Larry and Jeannine loved to travel and he especially enjoyed spending the winter months in Arizona. Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Cleo and Hazel Cole. Surviving are his wife, Jeannine; sons Matthew Cole and Brian Couch; daughters, Katie (Jay) Reynolds and Jill Anderson; grandchildren, Derek (Jessica) Couch, Brandon (Donnoda) Couch, Mackenzie Cole, Tanner Anderson, Maggie Cole, Meghan Cole, Lauren Anderson and Mina Reynolds. Larry is also survived by his three sisters, Kay Cole, Sue (Richard) Carrow, and Jane (Wayne) Foster and brother Bill Cole. A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday evening from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Palmer, Bush and Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Delta Chapel. In lieu of flowers, Larry's family wishes memorial contributions be made to Hospice House of Mid-Michigan or Dimondale Nursing Care facility. Friends may send a condolence to the family at
