In the 6th grade at The George S PaineElementary School as a member of the Patriots Bill was my substitute teacher. He taught us X's and O's in class. At recessHe taught us how to throw and catch a football.How many kids have a an experience like thatIn the sixth grade. We all looked up to him.He was our teacher, our own private footballCoach and our friend.....god bless.

I knew Bill when I was the supply officer and he served in the 323d Med Lab in Boston. I always marveled at his size; in street clothes he and I were about the same size and yet he was so talented athletically and playing professional football. He was an excellent soldier and served his country proudly. RIP.

To one of my bestest buddie. He was such a gentelmen and a great friend. I loved hanging out with him. He was full of life And ready to go. It was so good to see him Thursday. He greeted me with a big smile. Sure gonna miss u Bill. Take care Mr Bill. RIP. Taunnia.
