Norbert Enzer Obituary
Ann Arbor - Dr. Norbert "Norb" " Nimbo" Beverley Enzer, age 88, died on June 8, 2019 at his home in Ann Arbor, MI. Norbert was born in Milwaukee, WI where he spent his entire childhood.
Norbert B. Enzer, MD, was a nationally distinguished clinician, educator, and leader who influenced the advancement of psychiatry throughout his career. He was also an avid angler, watercolor painter and chef.
Dr. Enzer was preceded in death by his parents Norbert & Dorothy Enzer, his sister Jean Enzer Nussbaum & brother-in-law Bernard Nussbaum. He was a dedicated father, grandfather and uncle, and is survived by his daughter Cynthia (Enzer) Radecki & son-in-law Cass Radecki, granddaughter Jane Radecki, daughter Jennifer Enzer, son Joseph Enzer & daughter-in-law April Enzer, grandson Memphis Enzer, granddaughter Violet Enzer, nephew Charles Nussbaum & his wife Deborah Nussbaum (their children Amanda, Keith & Benjamin Nussbaum), Nephew Peter Nussbaum & his wife Gloria Nussbaum (their children Stephanie & Daniel Nussbaum) nephew Andrew Nussbaum & his wife Darcy Miller Nussbaum (their children Daisy, Ella & Pippa Nussbaum).
A private celebration of his life will be held. In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Norbert Enzer may be made to the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at www.AACAP.org
