Just came across this obit as I searched yet again for Ted here on the internet. He was a beloved friend from Eppler Jr. High and Henry Ford II High School. We had a very special friendship and I will hold my many memories even closer to my heart now. So sorry I didn't know and that we lost contact through the years....

Mark, I am very saddened to learn of Ted's passing. Ted and I were old friends from the 80's when he lived in Baton Rouge and worked for AHS. We lost touch sometime back and I tried on several occasion to locate him unsuccessfully. Even though he was not near I still held him close in my heart, even as now. I am certain you will miss him dearly. I would have been proud to have made your acquaintance. I would love to hear from you so you may catch me up. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Ed Norred

Ted was a kind, interesting, intelligent gentleman. I am honored to have known him. I still have clothes and things that I purchased from your Lake Lansing garage sale.

Mark, Even though I have been out of state away from my family, I always considered you, Ted and the Clouse's my extended family. I only had the opportunity to meet and get to know Ted a couple of times at family gatherings, but knowing you, he was a special person. Peace be with you.

Mark, It seems surreal to be writing this . . . Ted was an awesome man. I will always remember a time several years ago when we were rearranging offices one evening and Ted stopped by. We ended up going out for Chinese and what a delightful evening of conversation we had, covering everything from current events to art, literature, Broadway plays and beyond. I will carry that and many more memories with me always, along with the honor of knowing Ted. Rest well sweet man. Mark, know that my prayers are with you. Colleen
