Thomas Leonard Bailey
DeWitt - Thomas Leonard Bailey, 76, passed away October 13, 2020. He was born in Midland, MI on November 21, 1943 to Wallace and Mary Bailey. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jack Conway; and his wife of 40 years, Susan Bailey. He is survived by 4 siblings; and 7 daughters, Rae (Dennis) Hood, Tina (Kevin) Gillish, Niki (Dave) Anderson, Dena (Brandon) Moffitt, Michelle (Andy) Godwin, Amy (Eric) Swenson, and Deb Jaquette. He was blessed with 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren who also survive him.
Tom graduated from Eastern High School in Lansing, MI in 1961. He worked for General Motors in Lansing until he retired at the age of 50. He also owned and operated the Shingle Shack in DeWitt, MI during that time. He was a member of Michigan Street Rods, and Hawg and Hack car clubs. He was an avid classic car collector and has received many awards for his beautiful classic cars.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, his family has requested that donations in his memory be given to the charity of your choice. The family is being served by Tiffany Funeral Home. Friends may visit the guest book at www.tiffanyfuneralhome.com
