Maxine M. Miller, of St. Johns, died Friday, May 9, 2014 at the age of 92.  Born April 17, 1922 in Greenbush Township, Clinton County, MI to Luman Wilcox and Gladys A. (Dunham) Hall, Maxine worked as a cosmetology instructor at the Owosso Beauty Academy and was the Theater Manager and Owner of the Clinton Theater.  She was a member of First Church of God in St. Johns.  In 1946 Maxine married Victor H. Warren and he preceded her in death in 1963.  She later married Robert H. Miller in 1974 and he preceded her in death in 2000.

Surviving are her daughters, Arla Ann McLaren, Jacqulin K. (Ralph) Snider, Nancy Jo Brant; brothers, Earl W. Hall of Venice, FL, Neil W. Hall of St. Johns; grandchildren; Becky (Chris) Herrington of Rockford, MI, Erik (Aman) Winslow of Red Hat, MN, Heather French of HI, Gregory (Debby) Snider of Elsie, Bonnie (Wm. Scott) Whelton of Williamston, Chasity (Stephen) Doughtery of OH, Jessie Brant of Riverview, FL; 12 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Victor Warren and Robert Miller; son, James H. Warren; a great grandson; son-in-law; Clay Carruthers; and sisters-in-law; Betty Hall, Ruth Hall, and Miggie Hall.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, May 12, 2014 at the Osgood Funeral Home, 104 E. Cass St., St. Johns, MI 48879 with Pastor Chris Bones officiating.  Burial at Duplain Cemetery will be at a later date.  The family will receive friends from 11AM-1PM Monday at the funeral home.
