Max W. Thelen

Max W. Thelen Fowler Max W. Thelen, age 77, passed away on August 12, 2012. He was born in Fowler on August 8, 1935, the son of Arnold and Rose (Snyder) Thelen. Max was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church and loved the MSU Spartans and the Detroit Tigers. He is survived by his sisters, Gladys Schueller and Elsie Zuker both of St. Johns, nieces and nephews, Daniel Schueller, Kent Schueller, Ray Schueller, Jane Schueller, Nancy Zuker, Tom (Tamara) Zuker, Lee (Diane) Zuker, Kay (Russ) Held, Lynne (Ken) Frechen, 8 great nieces and nephews and uncle, Ed Snyder. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers in law, Clare Zuker and Paul Schueller. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fowler, with Fr. William Koenigsknecht presiding, burial to follow at Most Holy Trinity Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., with a Rosary at 3 and Vigil Service at 8, at the Goerge Chapel of Osgood Funeral Homes, 11112 W. Ionia, Fowler. Contributions may be made in his name to Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. The family is being served by the Osgood Funeral Homes.
