Gerald "Rudy" Rodebaugh Potterville Gerald "Rudy" Rodebaugh, 81, of Potterville, passed away on February 2, 2013 at the Charlotte, MI. He was born on April 18, 1931 to his parents Glenn and Dimple (Fett) Rodebaugh in Lansing, MI. Following Sexton High School, Gerald served in the U.S. Navy for three years. After returning home he married Anita Pifer on January 19, 1955. Gerald worked in Auto Repair for Fisher Body. Gerald was a hard worker who was proud of his perfect work record when he worked for Fisher Body in Lansing. In his limited leisure time, he enjoyed family camping trips to various places, hunting with his family and friends and fishing, especially salmon fishing on the Great Lakes. Baseball was another favorite past time as he rarely missed watching a Tiger Game while calling his family and friends to see if they had seen "the big play" of the game. His family remembers that he was always ready to lend a helping hand to any one needed help. He also held membership in the American Legion Post and Masonic Lodge. Gerald is survived by his son - Douglas (Jodi) Rodebaugh; daughter - Desiree Ramos; 4 granddaughters - Natalie Treat, Heather Rodebaugh, Nichole Redfield, Nannette Boehmer; 3 grandsons - Anthony Rodebaugh, Douglas Rodebaugh Jr., James Rodebaugh; brother-in-law, Chuck Morrison. He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Anita, in 1997; sisters, Phyllis Goodrich and Sally Morrison. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 05, 2013 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and Tuesday, February 05, 2013 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Pray Funeral Home, Inc., Charlotte, Michigan. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at the Pray Funeral Home, Charlotte, Michigan, with Charles Jenson, officiating. Burial will take place in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Eaton Community Palliative Care.
