A note for Ray;

Dear Ray, thank you for taking the time to give me advice and perspective as a young man. You gave me strength and perspective to persevere and soldier on when the challenges of life seemed too overwhelming. You made a difference in my life. You had impact. I am forever grateful and will miss your smile and firm handshake. Even though you seem to be gone; I know you are getting this message somehow. I hope you truly understand the good you inspired in the neighborhood skater dudes like me. I can't wait to shoot some hoops again in a better place, maybe you'll will let me win?

Thanks for being there Ray...I am paying it forward everyday.

With gratitude,

MSgt Michael D. Champion & Family
