Marge, I am shocked and saddened to read of Chuck's passing. Back during the construction phase of Eastwood Town Centre, he occasionally attended Groesbeck Area Neighborhood Association meetings. I have had few interactions with him since but I remember him as a striking, distinguished and knowledgeable person. He will certainly be missed by the community.

He was a once a year friend, at Pennsic War for many a year. Always cool, and fun to be with. We will miss him.

My deepest condolences to my cousins in our Lauer family. I remember all the good times we spent each summer when I came and visited all you guys. Chuck, Dick, Annie, Mark, and Curt. Was great times we had especially when i would wisk Annie away from you guys and take her for walks and stuff. I had a great conversation with Chuck when my dad passed. God bless all you cousins. He never gave up on the dream of space flight for himself and the rest of us. May he now visit the far stars and may we meet at the party at the end of the universe.
