Lubbock- Harvey H. Jarvis, 90, of Lubbock passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018. He was born November 1, 1927 in Eldorado, Oklahoma to Archie and Lizzie (Harvey) Jarvis. He graduated from Eldorado High School in 1947 and went on to marry Neoma Bush on March 4, 1950. Beginning in 1956, he worked for the El Paso Natural Gas Company. This allowed Harvey and Neoma the opportunity of living in New Mexico to the South Plains until his retirement in 1993. Harvey enjoyed spending time in the mountains of New Mexico trout fishing, and has been a member of South Plains Church of Christ since 2002.

Harvey is survived by his wife, Neoma; children, Harvey Ray Jarvis and wife Terri of Lewisville and Charlotte Ann Galyean and husband Mike of Lubbock; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Fred Jarvis, Kay Yesavich, and Gwen Long.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2018 at South Plains Church of Christ. Burial will take place on Monday, January 15, 2018 at the Eldorado Cemetery.
