Ed "Edwards" Elizaitis Sr.

Funeral services for Ed 'Edwards' Elizaitis, Sr., 74, of Huntington, will be held Friday, February 28, 2014, at 12:00 Noon in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Reverend Lubomir Kupec officiating. Interment will follow in the Huntington Cemetery. Mr. Elizaitis was born September 17, 1939 in Kauno, Lithuania, to the late Helena (Navickaite) and Aldertas Elizaitis. He died Friday, February 21, 2014, at his residence. Mr. Elizaitis had resided in Huntington for the past 14 years. He was the retired owner of the Texas Housing Center. Mr. Elizaitis loved being outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and raising cattle. He was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Irene Elizaitis of Huntington; son, Edward Elizaitis, Jr., of Huntington; daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Roger Behling of Palm Springs, California; sister, Angelica Latsey of New York, New York; and brother, Gunther Elizaitis of Huntington, New York.
