PHYLLIS MAGUIRE Phyllis Marcia Maguire passed away June 8, 2015, in Las Vegas, at the age of 75. She was born Dec. 10, 1939, in Harrisburg, Pa., the daughter of Leo and Zelda Gans. She worked as a chief x-ray technician for many years. Phyllis had many loves throughout her life. She loved her family and friends, she loved to golf, travel, read, she loved music, movies, the Academy Awards, and her beloved dogs, Splash, Lucy and Baxter. She is survived by her son, Montgomery Maguire, and his companion, Connie Harlow of Las Vegas; her brothers, Larry Gans and his wife, Shelley, of Northridge, Calif., and Jerry Gans and his wife, Linda, of Corona, Calif.; nieces, Sheryl Silberberg and her son, Kevin, of Santa Clarita, Calif., and Marcie Borses, her husband, Barry, and their two children, Justin and Emily of Northridge; and her beloved dog, Baxter. Phyllis lived life her way, on her terms and her family and friends love this about her. She definitely will be remembered by all who knew her. No services are scheduled.
