Helen R. Chapoton, age 96, a resident of Utica, died January 8, 2013 in Rochester Hills. She was born November 9, 1916 in Utica, Michigan. She was a teacher at Utica Community Schools System. She was a life member at Utica United Methodist Church. She graduated from Utica High School and received her Bachelor's Degree from Eastern Michigan University. Beloved wife of the late Alger. Dear mother of Paul (Debra) Chapoton and the late Dale. Proud grandmother of seven and great-grandmother of eleven. Preceded in death by her brother Melvin Kidd. Visitation Friday 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. and funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road (3 blocks east of Van Dyke), Utica. Interment Utica Cemetery, Utica.
