Betsy L. Gardner Grenville

Betsy L. Gardner Grenville,age 68, wife of Harold William Grenville, Jr.,died Monday,November 5, 2012 at the Tuomey Regional Medical Center.Born in Wilmington,NC. She was a daughter of the late Alfred J. Gardner and Dorothy Hobbs Gardner. Mrs. Grenville was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church and a retired seamstress.Surviving is her husband of Sumter; two sons, Harold William Grenville, III and companion, Lisa Pottger of Colorado Springs, Colo. and Devin William Grenville of Sumter, SC; one daughter, Mary Donna Meyer and husband, Kenneth of Harbor Beach, Mich.; two brothers, Jack L. Gardner of Columbia, SC and Gerald L. Gardner of Sumter, SC; two sisters, Mary T. Baker and husband, Ray and Mamie L. Perry and husband, Carl all of Sumter, SC; four grandchildren,and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dawn Renee Grenville;three sisters, Linda G.Gardner, Brenda Avin, and Amy Hudson.Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m Thursday in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Rev.Sammy Thompson and Rev. Mitch Towery officiating.Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.Pallbearers will be Brad Ridgill, Matthew Perry, Michael Gardner, Mike Gardner,Sammy Burchfield,and Greg Lewis. Honorary Pallbearers will be Deacons of Lakewood Baptist Church and Associate Pastor, James W.
