Connie was one of the funniest people at the Youth Home. There was a faucet leaking in the kitchen, and it was spraying all over the place. Connie came in and was holding his finger over the leak, and it was still spraying all over. He got on his walkie talkie and was yelling, "Mayday Mayday, we need a plumber in the kitchen." Joyce S and I were laughing so hard we were on the floor. She said,"You fix it Connie, you're the plumber." He smiled and said, "That's right, THAAAAAAAAAAANK YOU." I will always remember his positive attitude and his classic thank you after everything will remain in my memories of him. It was a joy to know him.

Connie was such a good man with a lot of energy. I remember him always whistling when he came into the Youth Home to work. If you closed your eyes and listened, his whistling sounded like a beautiful bird. I am happy to have known him.
