Words cannot express the saddness I felt when I heard this news. Though I haven't seen Dana since she was young, I have followed her life through her Mother, who has been a very close friend of mine since, well, seems like forever.I remember the day Dana was born, and she & my son played together as small children. I recall when she had her first child, Nicholas, as her Mom called me just before leaving for the hospital to deliver him. I have photos of her in her Mother's wedding. Her mom was always so proud of her.I have heard about all the milestones in her life, and am so sad to hear of her passing. To her family, there is nothing I can possibly say to ease any of your pain, I can't imagine your grief. Only know that I am thinking about you, and wish I could be there with you today. Shirley, remember I love you, and I am here for you, always. I hope that knowing of her love for you all will be of some small comfort to her family. My sincere heartfelt sympathies are with you today. I may be 1300 miles from you, but my heart is in Utica today.
