Don and Betty Campau were the most generous and dedicated tropical fish hobbyists. They were always a warm and welcome presence at the metro Detroit tropical fish club functions. A great loss to the tropical fish hobby community and will be immensely missed.

Glenn & Cindy,
I was so sad to hear of your father's passing. Through this I learned you also lost your mother in August. What a shock. I had contacted her via facebook and it was so nice to reconnect. I have some wonderful childhood memories of living next door to you guys. I'll never forget your mom in her flowered swim caps in the summer. My prayers are with you both. Kim Kulaszewski Barnett

My condolences go out to Don's family. I knew Don and worked with him at Gear & Axle way back to 1970. I just mentioned Don's name to my wife as we passed a tropical fish store on Sunday. He was a real gentleman and good friend of my dad, "Heiny". (Airhart Hein) Love, in the name of Jesus, Marlo Hein, Clarkston, MI

We all were very fond of Don and will miss him much. He created such great memories for my 13 yr old as he always seemed to remember her by bringing her mint lifesavers through the years..hope he knew how much they "mint" to her!
God bless you Don and give all the family great strength.

It has been a pleasure seeing Laura's Uncle Don with Aunt Betty at the annual Christmas Eve party and other family events over the years. We always tried to remember to wish him a happy birthday on Christmas Eve too. I'm so sorry for your family's loss. They will both be missed very much by all.
