I had heard about Don's death last year after the new year. I was so saddened to hear about his passing. Don and Lee were our neighbors on 24 mile. We grew up with their daughter Donna, who we all know was taken from this earth way too young. Don always was a great neighbor. He would come down to our farm and help us with our late crops when he could. He had a heart of gold in our eyes. He had a soft spot for us girls working in the field when weather conditions were not the best. We will miss him, but are comforted with the knowledge that he is now with his wife and daughter.
