I knew Gary in High School. We were on the wrestling team together. We lost touch after high school but it breaks my heart to hear of his passing so soon. Condolences to all his friends and family and to all those who Gary impacted in this life.

Drove Gary to Henry Ford II HS w/O Dixon in the Freezemobile. Good guy. Tough at a poker table; tougher on a wrestling mat. Can't believe he's gone on to the better life so soon. Condolences to Michelle and rest of family, but he still is with all who knew him.

I worked with Gary for many years at the Road Commission! He was a great friend! I use to cut his hair in the locker room of division 4. You will be greatly missed Gary! Please know you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

I didn't know Mr. Fettig all that well, we met a few times when I was in high school but I know many of the young men he helped form into great people. The respect, care and admiration his friends and athletes have shown is truly inspirational.
