LILY (Dudzinski) MARCACCIO Obituary
MARCACCIO, (nee Dudzinski), LILY August 8, 1930 – August 6, 2018. Age 87. Loving and devoted wife of the late Enio. Beloved mother of David (Kathleen) Marcaccio and Amy (Tom) Keyzer. Proud grandmother of Daniel and Kevin (Jill) Marcaccio and Justin and Marina Keyzer. Sister of Gabriela (the late Ed) Lams, Henry Dudzinski, and the late Julius Dudzinski. Aunt of Tina, Mark, Theresa, and Catherine. Lily was a devoted wife and mother, a talented artist, and a fabulous cook. She received her B.S. in Art Education from Wayne University, where she met Enio. She taught art in Detroit Public Schools until starting a family. As a member of the Lakeside Palette Club and Detroit Society of Women Painters and Sculptors, she exhibited her oil paintings at juried shows throughout Michigan. Lily blended her artistic and domestic sides by creating award-winning recipes, sewing costumes and clothing for her family, and gardening. She enjoyed golf and bowling with Enio and friends. We will miss her feisty spirit and tendency to break into song at the drop of a phrase. Visitation at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores on Sunday, Aug 12 from 3-8pm, scripture 7pm. Funeral Mass at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, 21201 E 13 Mile Rd, St. Clair Shores, on Monday, Aug 13 at 10am, in state 9:30am. In lieu of flowers, the family will accept donations to Living Arts – Detroit. https://www.livingartsdetroit.org
