I just learned of Dr. Carter's passing. I am so saddened! He was such a wonderfully caring and competent doctor. He treated me and my three daughters for many years; we'll never find another one as enthusiastic as he was about healthy eyes! Please accept our sincere condolences and know that we will be praying for you--the beloved family he leaves behind. He always spoke so fondly of his son who I hope is comforted and strengthened by the beautiful example and memory of his father.

I am sorry for your loss. He was a wonderful doctor. He helped me to see better than any other doctor I went to in the past 50 years. I have only known him for the past few years. Both of my daughters went to him as well. He always made us feel comfortable and easy as a patient and person. He will be truly missed.

I am shocked and deeply saddened by the news of Dr. Carter's death. He was an upbeat happy person who really enjoyed what he did for a living. He remarked to me just a couple months ago that it was his first day back to work after being on vacation and said he was just so glad to be back because he just loved looking at eyes! I thought that was a great thing and he really made me feel inspired. My greatest sympathies go out to his family and friends I'm sure he will be greatly missed.

We will miss Dr. Carter. My three sons loved coming to him. Always happy talking about his son and wife. He really loved life.

I am shocked by this news. Dr Carter's warmth and compassion could light up any room. I really enjoyed going to see him... He actually made an eye exam enjoyable! I moved about 45 minutes away from Sterling Hts but continued going to him because he was the best. He actually was the one that encouraged me to get SCUBA certified. He certainly had a passion for life and exuded it in his everyday life.
He will be deeply missed.
Sincerely,
Dr L

I was so shocked to hear of Dr. Carter's passing today. He was my doctor and he saw my children as well. I always asked for him. He was so awesome, kind, gentle and a true professional. He was the best! He always talked about his son whenever I saw him as he knew my son was almost the same age as his son. He made such an impression that I would refuse to see a different doctor there. My family and I will miss him dearly. My prayers are with the family!
