Carla E. Patat
April 26, 1955 - January 18, 2018
Bonaire, GA- Carla Patat, 62, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 18, 2018.
Carla was born on April 26, 1955 in Montezuma, Georgia. She was a 1974 graduate of Warner Robins High School and enjoyed showing her love for people while working at various retail stores in town including: Dollar Tree, K-Mart, and the Kwikie Food Store. Carla also loved working as a substitute at the Houston County Board of Education. She was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church where she was a member of the Jim Lane Sunday School Class. Singing and spending time with her family were Carla's favorite pastimes.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Milford English.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her devoted husband of 41 years, Ronnie Patat of Bonaire; children, Christine Gilley (Andy) and Justin Patat, both of Bonaire; grandchildren, Cody and Jesse Farmer, and Addilyn and Bryson Gilley; father, Sam Joe English, Jr. of Bonaire; siblings, Wayne English of Leslie, Georgia, Pat English of Texas, Daniel English of Hawkinsville, Donald English of North Carolina, and Glenn English of Bonaire; and several adoring nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be Monday, January 22, 2018, from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Jim Lane and Pastor Mike Britt officiating. After the service, Carla will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
