Linda Sue Hester
Jones County, GA- Linda Sue Hester, 66, of Gordon Drive, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018, at a local hospice facility surrounded by her loving family. The family will greet friends from 5:00pm-7:00pm, Saturday, at Bridges Funeral Home in Gray. Services will be held at 2:30pm, Sunday, July 14, 2018, in the chapel of Bridges Funeral Home with interment at Avondale Baptist Church Cemetery in Macon. Rev. Houston Berry will officiate.
Mrs. Hester was born September 16, 1951in Macon and had lived in Jones County for the past thirty years. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Hugh C. Taylor. Mrs. Hester was a former employee of the Bibb County Tag Office for many years as well as having worked for Thyssenkrupp Elevators and the Monroe County Emergency Medical Services as a bookkeeper. She was known for her amazing hugs and was a devoted wife. She was a loving daughter and mother and an incredible "Nana" to her grandchildren who cherished her. Mrs. Hester was preceded in death by her sister: Brenda Lowe and her second dad: Charles Daniel.
Mrs. Hester is survived by her husband of thirty years: Keith Hester; children and spouses: Lamar and Cindy Bonner, Brandy and Tom Watkins and Amber and Jamie Baughman; grandchildren: Thomas and Casey Watkins, Dennis Bonner, Taylor Watkins, Garrett Baughman, Chase Baughman and Ronnie Bonner; great-grandchildren: Hadley Hope Knox and Hayes Watkins; mother: Sue Daniel; siblings: Steve Taylor and Tina Landry and by several nieces, nephews and aunts.
Pallbearers will include: Art Justice, Johnny Lowe, Thomas Waktins, Dennis Bonner, Garrett Baughman, Billy Bonner, Chase Baughman and Ronnie Bonner.
The family may be contacted at the residence of Brandy and Tom Watkins at 171 Fox Road in Jones County.
