Marguerite M. Sechrist
September 6, 1929 - March 26, 2018
Warner Robins, GA- Marguerite M. Sechrist, 88, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on the evening of March 26, 2018. A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins, where she was an active member. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00AM – 11:00AM. Following the services, a private burial for the family will be held at Magnolia Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Sechrist was born on September 6, 1929 in Selma, Alabama to the late Walter and Marguerite Maines. Married to Ralph D. Sechrist, they later moved to Warner Robins in 1965 where she continued to spend her days as a homemaker caring for her family. Throughout her life, she gave of her resources and of herself to others. She shared her faith and the love of Jesus with everyone she met and will be missed by all who knew her.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph D. Sechrist and daughter, Carolyn S. Evenson.
Her memory will forever be cherished by her children, Marguerite S. Ricigliano of Warner Robins, Lois "Sunshine" Bird and her husband Rev. Larry Bird of Statesboro, Joann S. Whatley and her husband Jay Whatley of Reynolds; 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild.
