Macon, Georgia - Randall "Brooks" Coates, son of Don and Karen Coates, died on Monday, March 15, 2021 in Macon, Georgia. A Rosary and Vigil service with Visitation to follow will be held at 5:00PM on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Snow's Memorial Chapel Cherry Street. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 2:00PM with Father Scott Winchel and Father John Wright officiating.
Brooks was born on June 11, 1980 in Natchez, Mississippi. He was a graduate of Mount de Sales Academy and Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio. Brooks was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
In addition to his parents, Brooks is survived by his big brother, Donald "Reeves" Coates, Jr., of Macon, GA; his little sister, Kathryn "Katie" Coates Goldman (Bert); niece, Kenda Marie Goldman; nephews; Andrew and Patrick Goldman all of Natchez, Mississippi; and his significant other, Andrea Tice of Macon, GA.

Karen, I was shocked when Andrew told me that Brooks had passed away. I am so very sorry and can't imagine what you all are going through. Your faith is strong and I pray it sees you through this difficult time. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
