David Walter Burkovich, 71, of Macon, GA, entered into eternal rest Monday, June 14, 2021. Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Scott Winchel officiating. The family will greet friends Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Hart's at the Cupola from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The rosary and prayer will be said from 6:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Interment will be held Monday, June 21, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, Georgia.
David was a devoted husband of 49 years, loving father, grandfather, great- grandfather, and a proud marine. He was an electronics engineer. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church where he faithfully served the Lord as a Third Order Carmelite. David will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
David was proceeded in death by his father, Walter Mathew Burkovich, his mother, Rosella A. (Sepcic) Burkovich, his brother, John Burkovich, and his son-in-law, Dennis Besco.
David is survived by his wife, Karen Linsenbigler Burkovich; son, Jaison Burkovich; daughters; Shelley Besco, Raegan Rowel (Benjy), Lauren Bass (Stan); grandchildren; Breann Rowell, Chase Rowell (Lindsey), Noah Rowell (Monica), Alex Bass Jr., Dominic Bass, Hannah Bass, Jackson Besco, Jeremy Besco, Kaitlin Burkovich, Makayla Burkovich and Kade Burkovich; great- granddaughter, Eden Rowell; and brother, Daniel Burkovich (Ann).
