Carolyn McGrath Obituary
MERRIMACK, N.H. - Carolyn M. McGrath, of Merrimack, N.H., passed away Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016, at the Hillsborough County Nurs-ing Home in Goffstown, N.H.
She was born in Portland on Jan. 26, 1940, to the late Murray and Claire (Cassidy) Kilfoil.
Before retiring, she was employed as an administrator for Digital Equipment Corp, and worked as a secretary for various law firms.
Carolyn enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved traveling with her husband Frank.
Along with her parents, Carolyn was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Kilfoil.
Members of her family include her loving husband of 44 years, Frank McGrath; two daughters, Maureen and her husband John Lund of Marion, Mass., and Kerry McGrath of Belfast, Maine; three grandchildren, Sean, Caitlyn, and Annika; five brothers, Clifford Kilfoil and his wife Doris, Art Kilfoil, Mike Kilfoil and his wife Rose, and Fred Kilfoil and his wife Phyllis; a sister, Elizabeth and her husband Robert Winslow; and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, N.H., on Wednesday, Nov. 2, from 9-10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Nov. 2 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 16 Baboosic Lake Road in Merrimack, N.H. Heaven has gained an angel. The memories I have of my Aunt Caroline are always of kindness and love of family. I will treasure those. God bless Uncle Frank and their daughters Maureen and Kerry! Love to you all.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of the Kilfoil family. I have such fond memories of cousin Carolyn from my childhood. She took me to my first professional baseball game to see the Red Sox in Fenway Park.
