John Henefer Obituary

Dr. John C. Henefer DDS. 83 originally of Wayne Pa, passed away at Brandywine Hospital on February 23, 2013. John was a devoted husband to Maryruth Henefer with whom he resided at Tel Hai retirement community in Honey Brook, Pa John was born in Wayne, Pa son of the late John W. & Kathryn Henefer. A graduate of Swarthmore College, he then went on to receive his degree In dental medicine from the University of Pennsylvania. John had a private dental practice in Wayne, Pa for over 40 years before Retiring and the moving to the Tel Hai community. John was a devout Christian, and as a member of Wayne Presbyterian Church, and most recently a member of The Forks of the Brandywine Evangelical Presbyterian church, where he was involved in supporting Many charities and active in the community, as well volunteering for Meals on Wheels after moving to Honey Brook. In addition to his loving wife, Maryruth, he is survived by his loving son Rick, and loving daughter Dr. Ellen Webb. 6 Grandchildren, 3 Nieces. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 A M in the Chapel At the Tel Hai Community Center, with Tim Herr & Pastor Will Snyder Officiating, Internment to follow at the Forks of the Brandywine Presbyterian Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 10:00 Am to 11;00AM at the Tel Hai Chapel. Arrangements by The Labs Funeral Home, Inc. of Honey Brook. For additional information, please visit www.thelabsfh.com
