Philip R. Bagley, (1927-2011) Most recently living in the Quadrangle Retirement community, Mr. Bagley settled in Lower Merion Township, PA. in 1964. His youth was spent in Hanover, N.H. where his father was a professor of French at Dartmouth College. After graduating from M.I.T. with a master's degree in Electrical Engineering he worked in the computer field in the Boston area until he and his family moved to the Philadelphia area where he could continue his studies in computer science at the University of Pennsylvania. At the same time he was studying at the University he founded and was the president of a small computer software business. In later years, he also taught computer science at Temple University. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ann, two sons, Steven and Douglas, and his sister, M. Joan Laue of Grass Valley, Cal.. A memorial service will be held in the near future.
