SEBRING, FL: Gene Patrick Romanchuk, age 75, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2014 in Sebring, Florida from a sudden illness.

He was born in Mansfield, Ohio on November 2, 1938 to Daniel E. and Margaret (Schnitzer) Romanchuk. Mr. Romanchuk was a graduate of Ashland High School, he worked for Ontario General Motors for 16 years, he was the Founder of PR Machine Works and they are celebrating 50 years of service this summer, he was a member of Rod-N-Tiques Car Club, member of the National Tooling & Machining Association, he was a member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Sebring, Florida and St. Peter's Catholic Church in Mansfield, Ohio.

He is survived by his children: Mark Romanchuk (Zoi) of Ontario, Lana Garberich (Steve) of Crestline, Ohio and Valerie Romanchuk of Westerville, Ohio; grandchildren: Blake Garberich (Brandi), Chad Garberich, Molly Garberich and Nicholous Peters; three great grandchildren; and wife, Joyce Romanchuk of Avon Park, Florida.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 19, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home with funeral service to begin at 10:30 a.m. with Father Jose Gonzalez officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
