MANSFIELD: Rosie Lee Eatmon, 85, died Thursday, May 2, 2013, at Cleveland Clinic after an extended illness.

Rosie was born on March 25, 1928, in Sampson, AL., to the late Sloan Jarrett and Easter Pearl Scott. She made Mansfield her home. She retired from Therm-O-Disc and was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church for over 50 years.

Rosie leaves to cherish in her memory two sons, Lonnie W. Eatmon Jr., of Mansfield and Anthony B. Eatmon, of Pittsburg, CA; two sisters, Lozene Reed, of Jamaica Queen, NY and Martha Holmes, of Columbus, Ohio; three brothers, Henry McNutt, Forest City, AK, Allen McNutt, of Little Rock, AK and Frank McNutt, Forest City, AK; three step-sisters, Mollie Ruth Johnson,, Annie Ruth and Cruz, both of Columbus, Ohio and Emma Ruth Rollinson, Canton, Ohio: a grandson, Lonnie W. Eatmon III, of Mansfield; two granddaughters; great-aunt, Ms. Clyde Butts; a spiritual-daughter, Nettie Ballard and a spiritual-sister, Idell House; a host of relative and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 10,, 2013, with one hour prior calling; at Mt Calvary Baptist Church, 343 North Main St, with Reverend Gerald Murphy officiating. The committal services will immediately follow at the church.

The family has entrusted Small's Funeral Services with the arrangements.
