Wandalee Clinage

MANSFIELD: Wandalee Clinage, 84, of Mansfield, died Friday, April 19, 2013 at Crystal Care Center of Mansfield. Born October 12, 1928 Mansfield, Ohio, she was the daughter of Floyd S. and Martha (Horner) Mehl. She attended a one room schoolhouse and had worked for Mansfield Typewriter. She had an immaculate garden as she loved taking care of her gardens and flowers ~ watching the birds that they attracted and walking through Kingwood Center. She also enjoyed dancing, singing, going to garage sales, playing bingo and collecting Ragedy Ann and Andy dolls but her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and grandchildren especially around the holidays. She was a member of the Mifflin Township Garden Club, the Minstral, the Madison Boosters Club where she was past treasurer and secretary and was a life time member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her four children, Barbara Zediker of Shelby, Cathy (Jerry) Littleton of Mansfield, Mike Clinage of Mansfield and Wendy (Allen) Wells of Galion; six grandchildren, Jason (Sarah) Littleton, Eryn Littleton, Justin Clinage, Courtney Clinage, Stephanie (Sherman) Johnson and Shawn Wells; five great grandchildren, Savannah, Branson, Dylan, McKenzie and Abigail; two brothers, Tom Mehl of Bellville and Sam (Alma) Mehl of Bellville; a sister-in-law, Pat Mehl of Mansfield; numerous nieces and nephews; and her good friends from Crystal Care Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Clinage; a brother, Robert Mehl; a son-in-law, Bill Zediker; and a daughter-in-law, Susan Clinage.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Chawla and his staff the the staff of Crystal Care Center.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday, April 22, 2013 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield. Private graveside services will be held in Windsor Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mifflin Township Fire Department or the VFW Post #9943 Ladies Auxiliary.
