Melinda Davis Obituary
Mansfield - Melinda Kay Davis being 33 enjoyed life! She loved her family and was always there for others in their time of need. Sadly Melinda has passed on from this earth.
She was born April 22, 1987 in Phoenix, Arizona. Melinda enjoyed going on adventures, like a hike or walk she just enjoyed being outside. She loved her family, especially her children. She had a carefree, uplifting attitude and always enjoyed having fun. Music was a source of joy for Melinda as she was known to sing along to many of her favorites.
When it came to family Melinda was the glue that held them together and she loved each of them no matter what! Melinda was a natural beauty and she may have been short but she was mighty. Her life will live in the heart of her family and she will be greatly missed.
She is survived by children Tamia Clark, Darius Clark, Aniya Clark and Tay'Vaughnn Miller; sister Carrie Ann Jordan and Lisa Davis; nieces and nephews Ty Higginbotham, Taylor Higginbotham, Thor Higginbotham, Titus Higginbotham, Jessica Narcho, Randy Higginbotham, Trish Higginbotham, Kla Higginbotham and CJ Higginbotham; grandchildren Javaughnn and D'khi.
She was preceded in death by her mother Sharon (McKean) Currie and brother Jason Davis.
The Davis family will receive friends Friday, March 26 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home where a funeral service honoring Melinda's life will begin promptly at 1 p.m. The service will be live streamed on the Lexington Avenue Facebook page (www.Facebook.com/LexAveSFH). Pastor Terry Garrett will speak. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to assist the family may be made to Snyder Funeral Home (please send checks to PO Box 3085 Mansfield, Ohio 44904).
