Billy Wayne Link Sr.

Ontario - Billy Wayne Link Sr., 68, of Ontario, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018 at OhioHealth Ontario. He was born on March 21, 1950 in Scranton, Kentucky. Billy was the son of Estel and Jewell (Miller) Link.

A devoted husband, loving father and an amazing grandfather who valued spending time with his grandchildren. Billy attended Cornerstone Freewill Baptist Church. He retired after 34 years from AK Steel and then went to work for Oglesby Construction. Billy was a 40 year Mason and a member of the Shiloh Lodge #544 Free and Accepted Masons. He enjoyed golfing, loved mowing his grass, and an avid collector of guns.

Billy leaves behind his wife of 47 years, Sharon (Gee) Link; daughter, Vicki (Robert) Cortez Jr. of Mansfield; son, Billy W. (Shaun) Link Jr. of Galena; grandchildren, Makenna Reip, Tristan Cortez, Xavier and Sophie Link; sister, Delma Phillips of Mansfield; brother, Dennis (Tammy) Link of Mansfield; brothers-in-law, Kenny Phillips Sr. of Rincon, GA, John (Veronica) Gee of Summerville, SC, Junnie (Marlene) Gee, Glen (Judy) Gee and Rick (Pam) Gee all of Mansfield; sisters-in-law, Ann (Art) Owens of Mansfield, Willa Walters of Mansfield, Michelle Gee of Shelby, and Deb (Roy) Crose of Mansfield; special friends, Reatta and Austin Cole; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Arnold and Emelean Gee; sister, Tammy Link; and brother-in-law, Jimmy P. Gee.

Family and friends may visit Friday, June 15, 2018 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington Springmill Road from 3:00-7:00 pm. A Masonic Service will be held at 6:45pm.
