MANSFIELD: Dorothy J. Frasher, 98, of Mansfield, passed away Monday, October 7, 2013 at Winchester Terrace Nursing Home. Her loving, compassionate nature gave her family many wonderful memories. Her house was always the gathering place on Sundays several years ago. Dorothy enjoyed playing cards, traveling with her husband, and going on garden trips with her daughter through Kingwood Center. Her most treasured time was spent in the company of her family.

She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn (Curtis) VanDine of Mansfield; two sons, Robert (Doris) Frasher and William (Jody) Frasher, both of Mansfield; six grandchildren, Steven (Linda) VanDine of Hoffman Estates, IL, Sherie (James) Stricklin of Delaware, OH, Shelley (Kevin) Moorhead or Jeromesville, James (Sue) Frasher of Milwaukee, WI, Stephanie Frasher and Laura (Dominic) Orsini, both of Mansfield; eight great-grandchildren, Jessica Craig, Ryan Frasher, Mason Collier, Abby Frasher, Amy Moorhead, Brian (Emily) and Scott (Helen) Stricklin and Pam (Tyler) Moll; one great-great granddaughter, Piper Leigh Moorhead; a brother-in-law, Leo Frasher of Mansfield; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and good friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Frasher on July 18, 1998; a great-grandson, Jeffrey Stricklin; a brother, Don Hall; and a sister, Gaynell Alexander.

The funeral service will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
