Evelyn R. Yarman Weber Miller

LEXINGTON: Evelyn R. Yarman Weber Miller, 98, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at Lexington Court Care Nursing Facility.

Evelyn was born on November 3, 1915, in Mansfield, to Walter F. and Bertha Trobitz Yarman. She was a 1933 graduate of Mansfield S.H. Evelyn enjoyed crafts, especially needlepoint and crochet. She made cakes, worked puzzles and was a very active lady. She was an avid baseball fan, and followed the Cleveland Indians. She also enjoyed watching The Ohio State University football games. She was a Young Democrat, and once had the opportunity to shake President Kennedy's hand. She attended St. Peter's Lutheran Church.

Evelyn is survived by one son, Carl (Charlotte) Weber of Mansfield; six step-children, Elaine (Leland) Brown of AL, Sharon Carr, Jerry (Rhonda) Miller, and Gary (Barbara) Miller, all of Bellville, Larry (Barb) Miller of Las Vegas, NV, and Terry (Brenda) Miller of Butler; one granddaughter, Dianna (Phil) Nolette of Dublin; grand-daughter-in-law, Kristi Weber of Mansfield; numerous step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, Philip and Katelyn Nolette, Bethann Weber, and Amber Riggins; numerous step-great-grandchildren; and numorous nieces and nephews, including special nieces, Melinda (PJ) Barber of Raleigh, NC, and Pamela (Cardi) Rosato of Mansfield; and special nephew, Rick (Suzanne) Beer of Columbus.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Carl Weber; her second husband, Karl Miller; her grandson, Tim Weber; and three siblings.

Calling hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2014, at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 371 Central Ave, Mansfield. Memorial services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Rev. Renato Siewert officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church. Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd is handling the arrangements.
